The Cairo by Bus excursion from Hurghada starts after midnight, usually around 1:00 a.m., depending on the location of your hotel. The one-way journey takes approximately 5 hours from the first police checkpoint in El Gouna, located about 30 km north of Hurghada.

Breakfast boxes should be ordered in advance from the hotel and taken along for the tour. Small change is recommended for restroom use, and warm clothing is advised during the winter season.
Around 8:30 a.m., arrival in Cairo, one of Africa’s largest and most densely populated cities, where you will experience authentic Egyptian daily life. You will then visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The museum consists of more than one hundred halls and displays unique exhibits dating back around five thousand years. Here, you will see ancient scrolls, manuscripts, everyday objects, statues of famous pharaohs such as Cheops, Khafre, Menkaure, Hatshepsut, Akhenaten, and others, as well as golden sarcophagi, statues, and treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. You will also have the opportunity to view the mummies of the pharaohs, offering a journey deep into Egypt’s ancient past.
After the museum visit, there is an optional Nile River boat trip.
Following this, a tasty lunch will be served at a restaurant with an open buffet. Drinks are not included.
After lunch, you will head to one of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks — the Pyramids. Egypt is home to more than one hundred pyramids, but the most famous are the Giza Pyramids, considered the first wonder of the ancient world. Giza, a suburb of Cairo with worldwide recognition, is home to Egypt’s main attractions: the ancient pyramids and the legendary Great Sphinx, which have fascinated people from around the world for centuries. These mysterious monuments remain one of history’s greatest enigmas.
You will also visit a papyrus museum, where you will learn how papyrus was made in ancient times, or a perfume and oil factory.
The excursion ends at approximately 5:00 p.m. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hurghada. Return to the hotel is expected between 23:45 p.m. and 00:00 a.m., depending on the location of your hotel.
